Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimation and tender submission.
- Take-off measurement from drawings (architectural, structural, M&E).
- Update and maintain material price list, subcontractor rates, and quotations.
- Prepare draft progress claims to consultants/clients and verify subcontractor claims.
- Assist in preparing Variation Orders (VO) with proper measurement, cost impact and documentation.
- Support in contract administration under PAM 2018 / JKR conditions, including documentation, notices, and correspondence.
- Attend site meetings, conduct site measurements, and verify completed works.
- Work closely with project teams on budget control and cost monitoring.
- Prepare and update cost comparison, cost report, and cashflow planning.
- Ensure accuracy and organisation of all QS-related documents.
