Assistant Project ManagerThe Assistant Manager will play a critical role supporting the timely and successful delivery of projects in the Maryland, DC and Virginia area.Responsibilities:
- Takes initiative in managing information, establishing expectations and maintaining quality and cost effectiveness in the overall project
- Prepare, maintain and organize documents, including contracts, scheduled, budgets, change orders, invoices and progress reports.
- Solicits vendors for pricing; recommends contract awards
- Monitor project progress, costs, and quality, identify and resolve issues or risks.
- Spots business development opportunities; performs follow-up calls chasing bids; helps to negotiate and close deals
- Handles multiple projects simultaneously at various stages and locations.
