Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000
Key Responsibilities

* Independently manage smaller projects or assigned scopes within larger projects, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking
* Execute buyout activities for assigned scopes, including soliciting quotes, negotiating routine vendor pricing, and issuing purchase orders
* Prepare and review submittals; coordinate technical content with the engineering team
* Draft RFIs and coordinate responses among the field, engineering, and design teams
* Price routine change orders and T&M tickets for Project Manager review
* Review labor and material costs weekly; assist the Project Manager with monthly forecasts and WIP reporting
