Position Overview
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of of neural basis of olfactory processing in the human brain. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Expertise and demonstrated experience in combining intracranial EEG, direct electrical stimulation and single neuron recordings with odor tasks in human subjects is required. The Successful Candidate will have proficiency in neural data analysis, breathing recordings and analysis. The Candidate with an understanding of the literature on human odor perception, and neural circuits underlying odor information processing is highly desirable.
