The Department of Medical Laboratory Science at Farmingdale State College is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position.

Candidates must have at least a Master's Degree in health science, education, or field related to laboratory medicine, certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) /Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and a minimum of three years clinical laboratory experience. Preference will be given to applicants who have an earned doctorate in health science, education or a field related to laboratory medicine, as well as expertise as a Generalist in the field, academic teaching experience, and experience as an instructor in a clinical laboratory setting.
