The Department of Earth Sciences at Binghamton University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in critical mineralogy. We seek a researcher and educator whose work focuses on Earth materials and processes critical to societal needs. The successful candidate will establish an externally funded research program that can attract and support PhD students. Research areas of interest include the formation, extraction, and use of critical mineral resources, or the reactions of Earth materials with anthropogenic and natural processes.
