**Supervisor Nursing** **— St. Rita's Medical Center**

**Job Summary:**

Assists with supervising and coordinating the administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas. Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure safe and effective care delivery while promoting a culture of excellence.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Leads a team of nurses and clinical support.

+ Supports managers/directors on larger units.

+ Performs managerial responsibilities 80% of time; works on ground support for frontline staff and assists in direct patient care as needed.

+ Assists manager/director in planning and supervision of unit/department goals and objectives.

+ Assists with managers/directors in planning and maintaining department's readiness for regulatory surveyors.
