About The Role:
The Assistant Manager, Procurement is a pivotal role responsible for bridging the gap between high-level financial strategy and day-to-day sourcing execution. You will ensure that our procurement activities are cost-effective, ethically sourced, and aligned with our long-term fiscal goals.
In this capacity, you will work closely with the Finance leadership team and provide direct supervision and mentorship to the Procurement team. Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a Procurement Executive. Set their KPIs, review their contract drafts, and ensure their workload is balanced and effective.
Cost Optimization: Perform cost-down activities, benchmarking, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
