Position Overview
The Assistant Manager Procurement – Contract Logistics will be responsible for managing sourcing, vendor onboarding, tendering, operational purchasing, and procurement support activities for Maersk Contract Logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and initiate vendor pre-qualification and onboarding activities.
- Analyze vendor profiles and evaluate commercial proposals in the best interest of the company.
- Prepare RFIs, RFPs, annual tenders, and procurement documentation as per business requirements.
- Manage tendering processes through Keelvar and support vendor onboarding via Ironclad and SAP.
- Develop and maintain category-wise vendor databases.
- Support procurement activities for third-party managed sites and Contract Logistics operations.
