Café Coffee Day's menu consists of different cuisines. The job responsibility of this role is to keep a track of global and local food trends, create new food products and implement best practises in the industry.
Responsibilities
New Product Development: Create new food products based on global trends
Competition Review: Competitor tracking for products, best practises
Product library: Trials and recipe documentation of food
Product Costing: Costing and margin analysis of new products
SOP and Training Content: Content creation for training of new products
Training: Train the trainer programmes and staff training for new products
Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and suppliers to source ingredients-breads, desserts, gravies, sauces , fillings , seasonings for new product development
Cost Management: Monitor and manage product costs. Continuous work on improving product costs through alternate ingredients and new vendors
