Direct Tax :

The incumbent will be responsible for managing direct tax compliances, assessments, transfer pricing matters, tax audits, and litigation support across the Group entities. The detailed responsibilities are given below:

• Prepare, review, and file income tax returns and ensure timely compliance with applicable tax regulations
• Coordinate and support tax audit preparation and finalization
• Review General Ledger accounts and financial records from a direct tax perspective and identify tax-sensitive transactions for income tax returns, tax audits and tax assessments
• Perform reconciliations between books of accounts, tax returns, tax audit reports, financial statements, TDS expense and 26AS reconciliation.
• Review of TDS applicability on transactions
