Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
ensure effective patient care management by assessing patients critically, participating in patient care rounds with physicians to monitor the quality of the patient care/environment, responding quickly and appropriately in conflict or crisis in patient care areas and ensure all reportable cases are communicated to HN nurse manager verbally and through shift reports
plan nursing care and health teaching for patients according to their needs, ensure completion of nursing assessment for all patients by assigned staff in line with standard procedures, and order to report patients’ condition accurately to the physicians/supervisor
participate actively in quality improvement projects/nursing research projects/special projects at unit level
periodically review nursing documentation of patient care of delegated area
