Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Hardware Store Manager to support the daily operations of our store and assist in driving sales, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular floor walks with management and identify daily priorities.
- Communicate key focus areas to staff and ensure effective follow‑up.
- Analyse sales performance, margins, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor waste, markdowns, shrinkage, and stock losses.
- Review ranking reports daily and address problem areas.
- Manage store expenses and control operational costs.
- Ensure the highest quality products and service standards are maintained.
- Identify out‑of‑stock items and ensure timely ordering.
