Job Description

This position provides legal support to administrators, faculty and staff of The Texas A&M University System on behalf of the Property and Construction section. 

Responsibilities:
- Advises A&M System Members and the A&M System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction on various construction related matters, including but not limited to review and approval of architectural/engineering and construction procurement documents, contracts and guarantee maximum price proposals. Additionally, provides review and assistance with contract claims, potential errors and omissions and construction design defect matters, reviews and approves construction agenda items for the Board of Regents, assists with potential claims against project performance and payment bonds, and works with the Office of the Attorney General on potential and active construction litigation matters.
