Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Finance Operations
Oversee daily accounting and finance activities of the estate
Monitor payments, collections, petty cash and banking transactions
Ensure proper recording of receipts, invoices and supporting documents
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to suppliers and contractors
2. Payroll & Workers Administration
Prepare monthly payroll for estate staff, workers and harvesters
Verify attendance, overtime, incentive and piece-rate calculations
Ensure statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.) are properly submitted
Handle workers’ advances, deductions and payroll reconciliation
3. Management Reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Monitor budget vs actual performance
Analyse operational costs such as upkeep, harvesting, manuring, transport and mill charges
Assist management in identifying abnormal cost movements or operational variances
