Lead and manage team members in the assigned estate division and uphold good agricultural practices in line with company policy.
Plan, organise and implement work programmes within the approved budget to achieve optimum productivity and quality.
Ensure key work programmes such as road access, harvester access, workforce adequacy, staff facilities, upkeep, fertiliser and key stock supply are performed effectively.
Inspect actual work against plans and standards, and develop remedial actions when variances occur.
Review daily, weekly and monthly reports, highlight estate issues to the Estate Manager and recommend action.
Ensure accurate operational and cost information is supplied to the estate office clerks.
Maintain compliance with company policies and ESH (Environment, Safety and Health) statutory regulations.
