Job Purpose

Reporting to Engineer, the PWY AE shall carry out duties and authorities as delegated to him, ensuring that work is well executed in terms of safety and quality. He/She shall supervise a group of contractors to carry out renewal works so as to ensure a safe and reliable railway system.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a PWY AE shall include but not limited to the following:
• Require to work day or night shift including weekends as assigned based on roster planned one month in advance, subjected to last minute changes.
• Perform the duties of Possession Master (PM) and Person-In-Charge (PIC). This include but are not limited to the following:

o Must have clear and good vision of a minimum of 250 meters to check the sighting distances and train timings and not colour blind.
