Assistant Driller required on contract bases for 12 months
Qualification & Experience
03 Year Diploma in Associate Engineering
(DAE) or Intermediate (F.Sc.).
Minimum 6 Years overall Field Experience at
oil and gas drilling rig.
Minimum 2 Years as Assistant Driller.
Responsibilities
Operates the rig equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve targets.
2.2 Assists the driller with drilling operations including relieving the driller, while supervised, in drilling ahead, making connections, etc.
2.3 Assists during tripping drill pipe including relieving and/or assisting derrickman and relieving the driller, while supervised, in operation of drawworks and other equipment.
2.4 Assists in running and cementing of casing.
2.5 Prepares BHA and rig floor equipment for tripping, casing and cementing operations.
2.6 Assists in maintenance and repair of drilling equipment including supervising drill crew’s daily.
