Assistant Driller required on contract bases for 12 months.

Qualification & Experience

03 Year Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) or Intermediate (F.Sc.).

• Minimum 6 Years overall Field Experience at oil and gas drilling rig.
• Minimum 2 Years as Assistant Driller.

Responsibilities

• Operates the rig equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve targets.
• Assists the driller with drilling operations including relieving the driller, while supervised, in drilling ahead, making connections, etc.
• Assists during tripping drill pipe including relieving and/or assisting derrickman and relieving the driller, while supervised, in operation of drawworks and other equipment.
• Assists in running and cementing of casing.
• Prepares BHA and rig floor equipment for tripping, casing and cementing operations.
