Role Overview

As Head of Department of Learning Excellence, the Assistant Director provides strategic and operational leadership over SSI's CET quality management, outcome evaluation, adult educator management, and sector digitalisation capability development functions.

Responsibilities

Leading SSI's quality assurance efforts for sector CET, including managing course endorsement processes with respective funding bodies, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and funding requirements.

Developing and overseeing frameworks for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of SSI's training programmes, including designing evaluation methodologies, analysing data, and translating findings into actionable improvements.

Overseeing the management and quality assurance of SSI's adult educator (AE) pool, including onboarding, engagement, and ongoing development of AEs to ensure access to a diverse and capable network of sector practitioners.
