Position Title Assistant Director of Safety and Security

FLSA Exempt

Primary Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Safety and Security, this position is responsible for the leadership and supervision of departmental staff in providing a safe and secure environment for all community members, as well as all University property. The Assistant Director shares in the supervision of a professional staff consisting of: three sergeants, five security officers, one emergency dispatcher, the Student Safety Team, and the First Response Team. The Assistant Director’s work schedule will typically be assigned to night shifts and most weekends or be determined by the Director of Safety & Security in support of the department operations.
