Position Overview

Shaw Industries is hiring an Assistant Department Manager to serve the Tufting Department at plant WD by assisting with the day-to-day management and implementation of the department's requirements within the carpet manufacturing process.


Essential Duties:
+ Act as liaison between Department Managers and Department employees by providing an effective line of communication with regard to company policies.
+ Monitor all departmental production, production quality, processes and procedures and ensure that all employees continually follow departmental SMS procedures and instructions.
+ Give direction and support to department employees with regard to achieving departmental goals and objectives as well as assist in coordinating and maintaining the Department's work force in order to ensure that the goals and objectives are feasible.
