Assistant Controller – Manufacturing

Location: Houston, TX

Position: New role due to growth

A rapidly growing manufacturing subsidiary is seeking an Assistant Controller – Manufacturing to lead accounting operations in Houston. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but high-potential organization with plans for significant expansion. The role reports to the Controller and CFO.

What You’ll Do:

+ Oversee all accounting functions for the Houston office, including:

+ Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and revenue account reconciliations

+ Inventory accounting (WIP, finished goods)

+ Financial reporting

+ Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

+ Maintain and strengthen internal controls; collaborate with auditors during reviews.
