Assistant Conflicts Counsel (Chicago | Remote)
A prominent, full-service law firm is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Conflicts Counsel to join its Conflicts & Ethics team. This is a senior-level role supporting firm attorneys and leadership by managing complex conflicts matters, including mergers, lateral hires, and new business intake, while ensuring compliance with responsibility and legal ethics requirements.
This position can be based in any U.S. office and offers flexibility with remote work as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities

+ Partner with Conflicts Counsel to help manage and mentor a team of Conflicts Attorneys and Analysts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

+ Lead law firm merger conflicts from inception through resolution, including conflicts analysis, waiver coordination, ethical wall implementation, and stakeholder communication
