Position Overview
The Assistant Business Manager (ABM) oversees overall branch operations and ensures efficient, accurate, and timely service delivery across all customer segments—aligned with the Bank’s business objectives, policies, controls, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing
- Approves branch transactions within authority limits and secures approval for transactions beyond scope
- Reviews and approves OTC and auxiliary transactions (deposits, withdrawals, FX, remittances, checkbook requests, etc.)
- Approves account openings and customer record updates
- Ensures complete KYC and transaction documentation
- Monitors time deposit maturities and conducts enhanced due diligence when needed
Operations, Control & Risk Management
- Ensures strong audit ratings and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
