Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on, dynamic Assistant Shop Manager to join our management team. This active, on‑the‑floor role involves allocating work, coaching and mentoring the team, ensuring high‑quality results, and reporting issues to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop a positive work environment, assigning and monitoring job tasks and providing overall support to technicians, welders, general labourers and other shop employees.
• Hire, train, motivate and counsel the shop employees.
• Inspect and quality control shop employees’ work.
• Manage and schedule employees for optimal efficiency and time‑bound repairs.
• Set goals and objectives and manage production activities in the repair & refurbishment shop.
