Position Overview

The Microscopy Group of the X-ray Science Division (XSD) operates microprobe and nanoprobe beamlines with novel capabilities, develops advanced instrumentation and methods, and pursues collaborative research in the energy, life, materials, and quantum sciences.

In particular, the In Situ Nanoprobe (ISN) at 19-ID is a state-of-the-art nanoprobe designed specifically for _in situ/operando_ studies with multi-scale and multi-modality capabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented scientist to join our ISN team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and operating the ISN for world-class scientific applications, as well as developing advanced methods & instrumentation for the ISN.

Responsibilities include:

+ Contribute to commissioning and operation of the ISN.
