Position Overview
We have a position available for a mature Accountant in the East of JHB. This is an office based position.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Accounting/Finance Diploma/Degree
- Experience with Xero, Sage or Pastel
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Valid drivers license
- High attention to detail
- At least 4 years experience in a financial role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations for 9 companies
- Record and process supplier invoices, expense claims, and journals
- Maintain the general ledger and related schedules
- Prepare monthly management reports
