Responsibilities
Lead highway electrical asset management, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and H&S requirements.
Develop and manage cyclic and reactive maintenance programmes, controlling budgets and costs.
Maintain accurate asset records and statutory certifications.
Handle unmetered energy extract, accident damage, and insurance claims.
Provide technical guidance for energy-efficient lighting and traffic schemes.
Deputise for the CMS Manager and Highways Electrical Duty Holder as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Level 7 engineering qualification; NVQ Level 4+ in street lighting/electrical engineering.
Registration with the Engineering Council (Eng. Tech) or equivalent.
