About the role:

As an Asset Inspector you will be responsible for assessing the condition of our technical distribution assets (substations, transformers, circuit breakers to name a few) using tools and electrical test equipment, recording in accordance with our condition assessment programme, and reporting back on the performance of our plant and equipment.

This is a full-time permanent role and provides the opportunity to travel and work in a variety of locations across Southland and Otago. Given the vast area that we cover there will be times you will need to stay away from home on a rostered basis.

What you will need to be successful:

To be successful in this role you will need to be a registered electrician with at least two years’ experience within the New Zealand electrical industry. Previous experience in New Zealand testing and interpreting the condition of technical equipment would be a definite advantage.
