Position Overview
Responsibilities - Lead development and enhancement initiatives for applications running on IBM i / AS400 platforms
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs and specifications
- Oversee coding, unit testing, and deployment activities while ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurrence
- Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure best practices are followed across the team
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including business users, architects, and onsite teams, to ensure alignment
- Manage task allocation, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Support production systems by monitoring performance, resolving incidents, and ensuring system availability
