POSITION DESCRIPTION:


+ Provide direct instruction to students (6 - 8th grade) in art education.

+ Skilled in two-dimensional design and three-dimensional ceramics

+ Align lesson plans/curriculum to NYS Learning Standards; including art history, interpretation, manipulation and design

+ Emphasis upon entrepreneurship through art

+ Ability to adapt lesson plans for SWD and variety of ability levels


Job Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


+ NYS Certification in Art Education
