**Summary**

The Armed Security Officer **provides first response to emergencies** , **enforces federal law and assimilated state law** , and **conducts mobile patrols** to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and government assets.

**Responsibilities**

+ **Provide access control and traffic control** , ensuring safe movement throughout the facility and conducting both walking and motorized armed security patrols.
+ **Perform personnel, vehicular, building, and facility checks** , including **package and parcel inspections** , in accordance with established security procedures.
