Position Overview
Area Maintenance is an entry level job that is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a set schedule including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cleaning and maintenance tasks. This technician follows a schedule throughout multiple restaurant locations to clean and care for equipment to prevent equipment breakdowns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Performing planned maintenance on restaurant equipment including but not limited to:
· Kitchen equipment
· Service equipment
· Ice machines
· HVAC
· Coolers
· Freezers
· Plumbing
· Soda stations
2. Completing basic repairs / replacement of equipment parts, filters, O-rings, gaskets etc.
3. Following the McDonald’s planned maintenance calendar and sign off on completed tasks in each restaurant
4. Troubleshooting equipment to look for opportunities’
