Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, George W Bush Presidential Library. The incumbent performs technical work that supports access to archival holdings and control over records. The technician will perform standard tasks associated with digitizing a wide variety of materials. Responsibilities As an Archives Technician (Digitization), you will: Operate one or more digitizing devices to capture image files of a range of materials that may include, but are not limited to, loose and bound paper documents of all sizes, photographic prints, and film and three-dimensional objects Select duplicating system settings and appropriate equipment for the job to scan textual records. Modify Electronic media as necessary to ensure the best product possible Submit image files to automated image processing applications, or may perform basic, predefined image processing to individual files.
