**What You'll Be Doing**

**Job Summary:** Generally responsible for performing routine drafting and design assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. This work will be performed under direct supervision.

**Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:**

+ Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards.
+ Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team.
+ Assisting in accomplishing drafting activities in preparing drawings and sketches.
+ Assisting in accomplishing field survey to ascertain current conditions, assess design solution, communicate with client personnel and assist in construction administration.
+ Preparing material take-offs from drawings.
+ Recognizing and communicating scope and design changes promptly.
+ On-site assistance during construction.
