Summary This located in Joshua Tree National Park, in the Science and Resource Stewardship Division. This position serves as a cultural resources specialist for the park and directs an intricate program of archeological and other cultural resources activities. Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-12) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Directs an intricate program of cultural resources management activities that involve sensitive and complex issues that may impact a wide variety of Park issues. Represents the superintendent when working with other on resource stewardship issues. Attends management and professional conferences and other events for the purpose of exchanging information and advancing advocacy for park stewardship.
