Duties and Responsibilities
:
Understanding of application, vehicle lines, technological advancements, problem statements and requirements (customer/regulatory/industry competitiveness, etc.).Lead technical communication & coordination over the course of a project, including product evaluation, testing/measurement to quantify design targets, etc., while working with support staff of specialists in Design, Analysis, Testing and Sales.Determine & recommend solutions based on available product & technologies or tailored solutions, material standards, and DFM standards.Select purchase parts and work with suppliers as needed.Utilize Engineering calculators and light FEA tools (ie stress) and CFD (ie back pressure & surface temperature) via ANSYS.Coordinate with Central Development in Toronto for advanced Engineering and India Design Center for completion of models & drawings by marking up prints for technical/manufacturing ...
