Leidos has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Application Specialistat the DOE Portsmouth (Piketon, Ohio) site. The position will be part of an IT team responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance,configuration management and troubleshooting of Commercial-off-the-shelfsoftware applications and approved custom developed applications to support business requirements/needs.

**Primary Responsibilities**

+ Design, develop andmaintainsoftware applications to meet business requirements

+ Provide support for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software applications

+ Provide support forcomplexissues related to software tools, applications,databasesand system access

+ Interface with software vendors to analyze, implement or resolve issues with software applications
