**Job Description**

**UW Medical Centers** have an exciting opportunity for an **A** **dvanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care team.** The APP will provide exceptional, evidence-based advanced practice medical care to high-risk and well newborns and their families.

**EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP**

+ Support and educate residents
+ Train and onboard new Advanced Practice Providers in neonatal care
+ Collaborate with nursing leadership
+ Promote professional development of Neonatal APPs
+ Support recruitment and retention initiatives for Neonatal APPs

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Provide comprehensive neonatal care under the direct supervision of the attending neonatologist
+ Function independently within scope of practice
+ Ensure continuity of care for neonatal patients and families
+ Bill for services rendered, as appropriate to role

**SCHEDULE**

+ 90%
+ Variable days and night
