Job Title: API developer with Tenable
Location: McLean, VA
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote


Responsibilities


+ Develop and maintain custom connectors between Tenable and internal tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and CMDB.

+ Use the pyTenable library to automate recurring tasks like scan scheduling, asset tagging, and report generation.

+ Build ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move vulnerability data into data lakes or custom BI dashboards.

+ Integrate Tenable specialized scans (Container Security, Web App Scanning) into Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

+ Manage API keys, permissions, and rate-limiting to ensure secure and efficient access to the Tenable platform.
