**Description**

**MISTRAS is looking for API 510/570 Inspectors local to the Baytown, TX area for full-time, nested positions.**

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:**

+ Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of the refinery.
+ Perform visual inspection of completed work and recommend and approve repairs.
+ Assist in the scheduling of activities related to inspection.
+ Use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
+ Properly use and complete customer and company job related forms and paperwork.
+ Abide by Company policies and procedures.
+ Complete all required training, including tests, within Company guidelines.
+ Perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
+ Prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
+ Deliver reports to clients.
+ Work outdoors in a plant atmosphere.
