**The UW Medical Center-Montlake Anesthesiology Department** has an outstanding opportunity for an A **nesthesiology Technician.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

• Full-Time / 40 hours per week

• Day Shifts

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

• Assist the operating room physician in preparing patients for surgical operations and procedures

• Examine patient vital signs, gather data from monitors, assist physicians in the operation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and devices

• Observe patients post-procedure

• Patient age groups include newborn, infant, pediatric, and adults

Competitive candidates will have a strong patient care background such as EMT or Paramedic training.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot equipment used for patient care and monitoring that is related to anesthesia. Equipment includes blood pressure monitors, EKG's/EEG's, ...
