Northern New York State Anesthesiologist Job - 1 Hour from Syracuse- Clinical Role:

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible anesthesiologist
- Join a contracted anesthesiologist group
- Reason for need: physician retired
- Work at one hospital
- Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p
- Shared night and weekend call of 1:7
- Team model - you'd medically supervise CRNAs
- Supervision model of 3:1 or 4:1
- 10% of your job would be your own cases
- Standard bread and butter hospital cases
- Lots of OB - hospital sees between 1,500-1,600 deliveries a year
- CRNAs handle overnight epidurals
- Level III trauma center - major trauma is sent to Syracuse
- No neurosurgery, no open heart surgery
- EMR: paper charting, transitioning to EMR
