**About the position**:
We are looking for someone who wants to strengthen our team of anaesthetic consultants in the surgical department with their expertise and motivation for delivering excellent patient care. We are seeking a consultant anaesthetist for a permanent full-time position at our local hospital.
The surgical department at Sørlandet Hospital Flekkefjord has specialists in anaesthesia, orthopaedics, and obstetrics and gynaecology. We have a surgical inpatient ward, maternity unit, surgical outpatient department, operating department and an intensive care unit which includes a day surgery unit and a post operative unit. Flekkefjord Hospital has emergency functions within medicine, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology. In addition, we offer anaesthesia for dental treatment. The hospital has 5 operating theatres.
The intensive care unit serves both surgical and medical patients.
