Responsibilities

• Report to the Engineering Manager for the Mobile Platform team.
• Collaborate closely with native mobile engineers to design, build, and evolve the Android platform.
• Play a key role in migrating the app from React Native to native Android, building in Kotlin.
• Partner with the wider mobile engineering community to define best practices for native development and support cross‑training.
• Improve performance, robustness, and quality of the app by identifying bottlenecks, addressing technical debt, and resolving defects.
