Climate change is a global existential threat, and Singapore is doing its part to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions for a more sustainable future. The power sector contributes about 40% of Singapore's greenhouse gas emissions. We need to significantly reduce the power sector's emissions, while ensuring that the power system remains secure, reliable, and sustainable. The Energy Connections Office (ECO) is tasked to facilitate around 6GW of low-carbon electricity imports into Singapore by 2035, or about one-third of our energy demand then.[What you will be working on]
