**About Us**
The Specialty Pharmacy Financial Services (SPFS) Pharmacist supports specialty clinics by facilitating medication access through benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and patient assistance program coordination. This role collaborates closely with providers, payers, and patients to navigate coverage barriers, optimize affordability, and ensure timely therapy initiation and continuity of care. Working under a collaborative practice agreement (CPA) with clinic providers, the SPFS Pharmacist supports medication management and care coordination. Additionally, this role provides patient counseling and education on specialty medications, including appropriate use, adherence, and expected outcomes. Strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach are essential.
