Our client is advertising an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Specialist to permanently join their team at a public hospital in New Zealand's North Island.

The ideal start date for this position is 1 January 2027.

This small 110-bed acute care hospital serves the East Coast population, approx. 47,000.

You will enjoy working in a supportive, team environment with highly qualified SMO’s and House Officer’s, and have oversight of medical admissions and management (unselected medical take), giving you exposure to a wide range of medical presentations and procedures, along with many educational opportunities. The medical department is supported locally by comprehensive surgical services, along with modern diagnostic facilities including a new MRI scanner and CT scanner.
