**Summary**

**Role Overview:** Under direction, the AHD Ultrasound Technologist performs Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail and within established departmental policies and procedures. Identifies and reports to Radiology Manager changes in protocols, equipment and software upgrade needs, and all other budget impact changes. Ensures proper equipment maintenance and cleaning. Performs related duties as required.
